Busy-body Western environmentalists should LEAVE other countries to make their own choices on their environments.

It is amazing how now the National Geographic tries to tie everything to "climate change". I have been to Angkor Wat three times over a period of 13 years and there have been many changes that have nothing to do with the climate. Nowhere in this article is mentioned the fact that it was the flooding of Tonle Sap Lake when the Mekong backed up into the Tonle Sap River and created the most productive fresh water fishery in the world. This will all change when the Chinese complete a series of dams in the Mekong River that will prevent this annual event from happening. It was more being invaded by the Siamese army as well as forces from modern day Vietnam that cause the decline.

"The destruction of this bridge is suggestive of a huge flow of water, far more than the canal could cope with, coming down through the middle of the city," said Penny, who is a researcher in the geosciences department at the University of Sydney. "It did a huge amount of damage to infrastructure that people who were living here at the time simply couldn't repair." If they were able to build it in the first place they surely would be able to repair it. Does that mean that the I-35W Mississippi River bridge in MN that fell down mean that America is finished and can't repair this bridge & was this caused by CO₂ induce climate change like the National Geographic is trying to make us believe that everything from bad breath to rings around the sun are caused by this essential trace gas?
