Nothing intrinsically wrong with fossil fuels and their products, but they have had their time, we have to move on.
Now, we have no choice.
If we had been using them responsibly all along we would not be in the dilemma we find ourselves now. If we had been working towards a solution ever since the first signs of climate change decades ago things might have been different.
Wat is is totally infuriating though, and completely unacceptable is that the fossil fuel industry has been doing, and still is, the exact same thing the tobacco industry did concerning cancer.
They have been aware of the environmental impacts of burning fossil fuels for far longer than you might imagine.

The up side to this is that it will kill all the dam mosquitos. Zika, malaria, and equine encephalitis deaths will be reduced, however, it is going to stink to high heaven.
