I read that our bone is electrically charged by default, and the cells that grew into bones can sense those electric charge to control its growth. I think those electric charges represent the pressure applied on our bone, and these cell reinforce or reclaim bones based on the pressure that our bones experience, or its charges.

Maybe the cold plasma polarized the bone, tricking the cell to reinforce it.
