Open letter to Greenpeace: I will stop posting about climate for a mere $1000 a month over the next five years. This is a hobby that I now enjoy as a work-at-home break, especially when I'm procrastinating during product design mental blocks, but I can think of a lot more rewarding and less masochistic breaks at sidewalk cafes or at 3AM in Little Korea where I can delve into the translation of Aristotle's fallacies I put on my iPhone last month. I like to eventually delve down into the original work, to the agitated chagrin of climate "scientists" and their Astroturf enablers, but the delving is its own reward and the Internet is a cesspool that rubs off on me too much and that's bad for my health, I imagine. Anybody out there could fund this offer using Kickstarter.com, or at least try. That skeptics already won over the anti-science instincts of Republicans means the boringly meandering climate itself can now argue for us, minus severe energy rationing during a recession.
