Libreoffice http://libreoffice.org/ is an open source solution to the licensing bait and switch

I like Microsoft products but tend to give many problems before they start working properly e.g. Vist vs Win 7.

The most innovative of Office 2013 seems to be the licensing system to earn more money and reduce illegal copies.
"… Office 2013 doesn't include an option that works on Apple Inc.'s iPhone and iPad or smartphones and tablets running the Android… "
"…365 Home Premium, which includes online access on up to five Windows devices or…"
As long as they don't offer versions for other OS, I personally don't see any need for an upgrade
(or is it a costly downgrade?), especially when I read online access…
What, if there is no access to the web?
